In the Gelati Academy of Sciences was held debates to announce “Deda Ena” (the first Georgian Alphabet) written by Iakob Gogebashvili (the founder of the scientific pedagogy) as a cultural heritage. Professors Avtandil Arabuli and Giorgi Gogolashvili took part in discussion. The debate, which was held in the assembly hall of 1st Public School of Tbilisi in 17 October 2008, was devoted to the conference on a topic: Iakob’s “Deda Ena” and modern Georgian school”.
